The Gunslingers of Stephen King’s Dark Tower series recite a creed. “I do not aim with my hand (…) I aim with my eye. I do not shoot with my hand (…) I shoot with my mind. I do not kill with my gun (…) I kill with my heart.” This creed illustrates the important fact that guns cannot do anything on their own. All talk of gun control ignores the fact that it is criminals who murder. Not guns.
